Every so often, a special harvest of premium leaves surpasses the highest of standards, earning the right to be considered ‘Macanudo Vintage Quality’. Happening only 5 times in the last 30+ years, these harvests are incredibly scarce and produce the finest cigars Macanudo has ever offered. The last batch of these choice leaves was harvested in 1997, in what Macanudo’s Master Blender, Daniel Nunez, labeled 'the best crop ever used'.
Fermented to perfection, and cured for 3 years, Macanudo Vintage ‘97 has acquired a smoothness one can only dream of. Wrapped in the highest grade Connecticut Shade wrapper available, it will be tough to even cut and light one of these gorgeous cigars. However, the aroma produced by the mellowest of mellow vintage blend of Dominican and Mexican long leaf fillers will entice you to act on your motives - to smoke what is quite possibly the greatest Macanudo ever produced.
